Running mixed media art workshops around the globe truly makes my heart sing. It's a magical combination of two of my passions: art and travel.

Whenever I chat with fellow artists and students, I find that we typically face a few challenges when it comes to enjoying art just for the pure pleasure of the doing. Take a read of my top tips to overcome these challenges and the importance of regular creative practice.

Being human can be an emotional rollercoaster. But there is an almost unwritten rule that we should not explore or give space to those so-called “negative” emotions. When we truly allow ourselves to explore ALL our feelings, this is when we can create meaningful connections - both in life and in our art.

This month I travelled to the beautiful Son in Norway for my Book of Flow workshop. This particular workshop is all about focussing on our own voice, letting go of self-criticism and channelling our inspiration and creativity to reflect our true soul. The artists that joined me in the workshop were incredible and, as I reflect on the workshops I have done, I realise how important the physical space and connection to others can be.

This year I have been invited back to join the amazing Tam from Willowing Arts and 15 other artists for Kaleidoscope 2022.
