Flow with Donna L Martin
Are you ready to embrace your creativity in a relaxed and fun way? Join me and my first Guest Artist, Donna L Martin. We create an amazing piece together in her studio in Colorado. It is a super fun project where we use a lot of different art supplies and new techniques. Join the fun and learn from Donna and me.
We create on the same piece and as soon as I feel a bit stuck, I stop and swap and Donna takes over. When it gets to be my turn again there is something added that ignites my flow again. Such a great process; challenging and fun class!
Through the class we will show you how we each work with a whole range of different mixed media techniques. We offer you a unique experience of our differences in how we approach the piece. Whether you're looking to explore your creative side or expand your artistic repertoire, Flow with Friends offers a fun and non-perfect approach. I love to paint and collaborate with others. To be in a room together with like minded people all doing what we love is very inspiring and up-lifting.
I also like to collaborate with other artists in different ways. I love to actually work on the same piece of art either at the same time or taking turns or sending each other pieces that we then work on. This is challenging and great fun. It gets me into my flow and gives inspiration in new ways every time. I have done this as long as I can remember and in many different ways.
For many years I have fed off that creative energy that comes when you are working together with fellow creatives. From simply working alongside each other in a workshop or retreat, to actually collaborating on a painting, it brings a magical dose of inspiration. Now I am sharing this with you in my fabulous new series - Flow with Friends - that will get me and my Guest Artist sharing our love of mixed media art with you.

I am Jenny and I am your Creative Guide in this class.
I am a perfectly imperfect, mixed media artist.
Like you, I spent many years pushing aside my creative spark. Then, one day I realised the only way to awaken my inner artist was to just dive in and do it.
This means focusing on the process of making art–the making and doing. Over the years I’ve developed an intuitive, unstructured, tactile and yes, messy (but fun!) process that has allowed me to open up the magic of what is unique within me.
Now, I am a Mixed Media Artist living in Stockholm, Sweden who has sold artwork, exhibited and run workshops all over the world. And I’m on a mission to inspire ordinary people like you to be brave, to use your inner creativity and to do more of what you love. To learn how to be more creative in life, as well as in your art.
I love sharing my magic world with you and can’t wait to see you in my class Grow to Flow. I have seen how my creative approach has helped the creativity blossom in me and in thousands of my students. I’m so excited to share it with you to inspire you to expand your skills, and grow your creative confidence too.

Frequently Asked Questions
What art supplies do I need?
You’ll get a full list of materials and supplies when you sign up to the course, but you don’t need much to get started.
I believe in reusing and recycling materials. I’m sure you already have a lot of it at home. Some of the most common things I use are:
- Different sized substrates. You can use paper and cardboard. To find a big piece of cardboard to paint big ask in your local store they get things delivered in big boxes.
- Pieces of scrap paper from old books
- Acrylic paints, inks and matt mediums
- Different brushes, sponges, a pallet knife or an old credit card will do
- Mark making tools (stencils, caps, skewers etc.)
- Pencils, rags and a spray bottle

You can start with what you have, and build on it as you learn and experiment.
When will I have access to the videos?
You will have access to all the content April 12
How long do I have access to the course material?
I want you to be able to develop solid creative habits so you’ll have access to the materials for at least two years. During this time, you’ll be able to revisit the content, the materials lists and the videos as many times as you wish.
What if I have a technical problem with the course and can’t access the videos?
There are a few ways to contact me if you’re experiencing problems:
- Inside the course, click the ‘Discussion’ button in the top right to ask a question at any time.
- Ask a question in the Facebook Group and I’ll answer you there.
- Email me at teamflow@flowbyjenny.com and I’ll get back to you within 48 hours.
